Starting Dec 1, is the Shipyard Christmas festival being held at an artisan market at North Vancouver's Shipbuilders Square. This community event will be featuring live music and many outdoor entertainment activities. In the evening, one will be able to see boats from the Burrard Yacht Club with christmas lights sail by the pier. Also on December 1, one may want to visit Rocky Point Pier to celebrate the holiday season. The Cheer at the Pier has many events for children including a mini train ride, carol singers, light illumination and santa claus will be available to hand out candy canes. For those who plan to keep fit and love the outdoors, why not go to Stanley Park for the Lumberman's Arch Race which starts at 10 am on Dec 1.
